KINTO has a newly electrified fleet with flexible options: fully electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and plug-in hybrid vehicles.
All-electric
Vehicles
These pure-electric vehicles replace combustion engines with electric motors, providing smooth and almost instantaneous torque. KINTO offers level 1 charging cable to allow customers to charge the vehicle at home.
This program is currently for Uber and KINTO customers who meet the eligible requirements.
Hybrid
Vehicles
Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) use a combination of gas engine and electric motor(s) to maximize power and efficiency. hybrid fleet allows customers on the go to have impressive mpg range.
Plug-in Hybrid
Vehicles
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) run just like hybrids but thanks to their larger battery pack, they can run farther on electric power alone. Use the vehicles with fuel, or as a hybrid and plug-in for electrical range.
Uber Green Eligible
Eligible drivers of low-emission vehicles automatically get $0.50 extra directly from riders in each Uber Green trip.*****

The New Toyota bZ4X
The 2023 all-electric bZ4X is available in the Los Angeles, CA area. The bZ4X is eligible for Uber Comfort Electric.
Eligible customers must meet the following criteria:
- Maintain a minimum driver rating of 4.85 and have completed at least 150 trips with Uber.
- No current suspensions with KINTO
- Must complete overview session via elearning to rent the bZ in the KINTO app.
- Only $299 a week, plus tax.
